Warren Sands, as principal of Sands Petroleum Development, has more than twenty years experience in the gas station development business stretching back to 1987.  Warren and the growing team of professionals at Sands Petroleum Development specialize in “ground up” development as well as refurbishing modern gasoline station / convenience store facilities.

These services include site acquisition, land use modification, developmental review, planning, permitting, plan processing, design, management and comprehensive construction and development from dirt to finished, branded, operating stations carrying the Chevron, Texaco and BP marks.

Through the years, Warren has directed the development or redevelopment of over 90 stations from the Southern end of Florida in Florida City to Orlando in the north, Port Saint Lucie on the east coast and Sarasota on the west coast.

Sands Petroleum currently has 14 sites in various stages of development at premium locations (see additional sheets) and is actively looking to acquire and develop additional sites within the Southern Florida Market. Sands Petroleum is simultaneously negotiating with BP to become a Branded Jobber for these new sites to create increases in volume and to create net operating efficiencies.  Currently, three of the east coast sites have already been approved as BP Deal Owned Dealer Operated sites.

Sands Petroleum was recently recognized by CSP Publications for its current growth and the amount of new unbranded gallons anticipated to begin operations (estimated at 30 million gallons upon stabilization of 11 new sites over the next 18 months).

Current processes and plans show future production at four to six new stations a year and, depending upon location, could average an increase in already large fuel volume of a minimum of 6,000,000 gallons per year.

Through the development of additional new stations and the remodeling / redevelopment of existing unbranded stations Sands Petroleum plans to achieve forty million gallons in anticipated fuel volume by 2010.
